I am a linguist and educator specializing in Persian language and literature.
I received my master’s degree in General Linguistics from Isfahan University, where I developed a strong interest in Persian and Armenian literary traditions. Later, I pursued my PhD at Yerevan State University, focusing on the multilingual poetry of the 18th-century poet Sayat-Nova and its cultural significance.
From 2012 to 2018, I taught linguistics and Armenian language at Isfahan University. After moving to Armenia for my doctoral studies, I continued teaching Persian language and literature at the Mejlis Institute from 2019 to 2021 and later at Aspirantum. Currently, I live in Paris, where I have been teaching Armenian language at INALCO for the past two years.
In my teaching, I try to combine practical language learning with literature and culture. I use different methods depending on the needs of the students, with an emphasis on communication, immersion, and working with literary texts. For me, poetry and prose are not only useful tools for language learning, but also a way to better understand the cultures and perspectives behind the language.
My goal is to create an engaging learning environment where students can improve their language skills as well as develope an appreciation for Persian and Armenian literary traditions.
