I am a linguist and educator specializing in Persian language and literature.
My academic path began with a master’s degree in General Linguistics from Isfahan University, where I developed a deep interest in Persian and Armenian literary traditions. I later continued with a PhD at Yerevan State University, focusing on the multilingual poetry of the 18th-century poet Sayat-Nova and its significance across different cultures.
Since 2014, I’ve been teaching Persian in both academic and cultural settings, working with learners from diverse backgrounds. Literature and poetry are at the heart of my teaching approach — not only as language tools but as windows into the values, emotions, and worldviews of Persian-speaking communities.
I aim to create an intellectually engaging and culturally rich environment where students can build both language skills and a deeper appreciation for the literary heritage that shapes them.
If you’re looking to study Persian in a thoughtful, literature-informed way, I’d be happy to accompany you on that path. Let’s explore the language together — one meaningful word at a time.
